Kristal L. Reeves

Kristal L. Reeves, age 50, of Grove, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2026. After a life filled with faith, love, joy, and service to others, Kristal is now in the presence of the God she loved so deeply and served so faithfully—fully alive, fully at peace, fully healed, and rejoicing in His presence. Born May 14, 1976, in Garnett, Kansas, Kristal lived with a warmth that made people feel seen, loved, and welcomed. She carried a joy that was impossible to miss and a grace that touched everyone she met. To know Kristal was to experience her laughter, her compassion, and her unwavering belief that every person mattered. Kristal graduated from Mountain View High School in Tucson, Arizona, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lyon College. Her life's calling was to serve others. She founded and led Luke 4:18 Women's Ministry and later spent two years teaching at Grove Lower Elementary School. She went on to become Executive Director of Donor Relations for Curt Landry Ministries, where she worked closely with donors and Covenant Partners across the country and around the world. Kristal didn't simply serve in a role — she genuinely loved the people God entrusted to her. Her obedience, her passion for the Kingdom, and her heart for people made a lasting impact on the ministry and on countless lives. Kristal was deeply devoted to her faith and actively involved with her home church, House of David. She lived with a surrendered heart, sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and she loved studying Scripture and sharing the hope she found in God. Her faith was not simply something she believed — it was something she lived. Kristal was often described as a ray of sunshine, and there was perhaps no better way to describe her. She brought light wherever she went. She was also a true bridge builder, with a remarkable ability to bring people together, restore relationships, and find common ground. She saw the good in people and believed that love, grace, and kindness could bring healing where there were differences. Above all else, Kristal loved her family. She married Aaron Reeves on May 26, 2006, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and they shared 20 years of marriage. Aaron was the love of her life and her partner through every season. Together, they built a home filled with love, faith, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever. Kristal was a devoted mother to her daughters, Lily Beth and Paige, who were among the greatest joys of her life. She especially loved watching Lily play softball and celebrating the lives and accomplishments of both of her girls. She had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories that mattered. Left to cherish Kristal's memory are her beloved husband of 20 years, Aaron Reeves; daughters, Lily Beth Reeves of the home and Paige Reeves of Melbourne, Arkansas; father and mother, Lynn and Debbie Bull of Pittsburg, Missouri; mother, Connie Schulte of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Jared Bull (Monica) of Glendale, Arizona, Criss Bull of Shawnee, Kansas, Thad Bull Zorn of Peoria, Arizona, and Chris Friend of Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Bull, Brandon Bull Zorn, and Daric Bull. She was also deeply loved by an extended family of In-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who became family. Kristal leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured by the years she lived, but by the lives she touched. She gave hope to those who needed it, encouragement to the weary, and love to those who needed to know they were not alone. As 1 Thessalonians 4:13 reminds us, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. Kristal's family finds comfort in knowing that the woman who spent her life giving hope to others is now experiencing the fullness of that hope. She loved fiercely, lived joyfully, gave generously, and made the world brighter simply by being in it. Her time here was far too short, but her light will continue to shine through the people she loved, the bridges she built, the lives she changed, and the faith she shared so generously. Graveside services will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 am at Combs Cemetery in Melbourne, Arkansas. A Celebration of Kristal's Life will be held September 4, 2026, at 11:00 am at the House of David in Fairland, Oklahoma.
