Gary Mickael Dean Patterson

Gary Mickael Dean Patterson, age 60, of Ketchum, Oklahoma, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on March 23, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just one day shy of his 61st birthday. He was born on March 24, 1964, in Anderson, Indiana, to Virgil and Rowena (Pederson) Patterson. Gary was a dedicated independent truck driver, most recently working with GP Express. He brought passion and care to every aspect of his life. Gary was deeply committed to his faith and attended Lake Center Baptist Church in Afton. His kindness and willingness to help others were evident in every interaction, whether assisting a stranger on the road or spending quality time with his family, whom he adored. Gary was also mechanically minded, a hobbyist who loved working on cars and could often be found barbecuing for a family event. He had a passion for amusement parks and greatly enjoyed the thrills of the rides with his family and friends. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend, survived by his seven children, Tyrica Osborn (Chris) of Muncie, IN, Eric Patterson (Jane) of Anderson, IN, Camieo Scott of Jacksonville, Florida, Josh Hawpe of Hodges, OK, Anna Ramirez (Roger) of Broken Arrow, OK, Chris Patterson of Ketchum, OK, and Taylor Patterson (Cooper) of Ketchum, OK. Gary also leaves behind nine siblings, Paula Patterson of Miami, OK, Robert Pardue (Angela) of Muncie, IN, Debra Carrington (Jerry) of Anderson, IN, Virgil Patterson II of Anderson, IN, Archie Patterson of Noblesville, IN, Jody Patterson (Carol) of Anderson, IN, Lazoros Torres of Muncie, IN, Donna Williams (Donnie) of Anderson, IN, Donald Corbin (Carrie) of Muncie, IN, and Steven Adams of Muncie, IN, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews; his adored aunt Margel Dorcy of North Vernon, Indiana, as well as many extended family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Archie and Freda Patterson; daughter, Garisha Patterson; brothers, Richard Pardue and Chris Patterson; and sisters, Patricia Jackson and Rita Patterson. Visitation will be from 9am - 5pm on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Nichols-Stephens Funeral home. There will be a luncheon for family and friends at Lake Center Baptist Church (29020 OK -125, Afton, OK) at 11:30am on Friday preceding the funeral. Funeral Services for Gary will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Nichols-Stephens Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Ketchum Cemetery, Ketchum, OK.
