Timothy D. Webster, age 71, of Grove, OK passed away on June 30, 2021 at his daughters home in Conroe, TX. Tim was born on September 11, 1949 to Donald and Patti Webster in Henrietta, OK. As a child, he traveled around the world following his father’s work. Tim was an outstanding Ridgerunner athlete and graduated from Grove High School. He went on to the University of Arkansas on a full football scholarship. After college, Tim played football in the NFL as a free agent for the Green Bay Packers. After his athletic career ended, Tim moved to Texas to start a new profession as an advocate for his co-workers at Exxon Mobil and left a legacy of safety that continues to this day. He was the first Health & Safety Officer for the Union employees in Baytown and fought for changes that have saved countless lives from harm and continue to shape policymakeing in petrochemical facilities currently. Tim was a giant of a man, both figuratively and literally, who left an indelible impression on all who encountered him. Tim is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Sue. Left to cherish him memory his children: Lynda and Jamie, Nathan and Tiffany, Anthony and Donald and Sabrina; many grandchildren: Benjamin, Rose, Aubrey, Evan, Sawyer and Grayson. In addition, by the mothers of his beautiful children, Judy and Sheyrl and his loving longtime partner, Peggy. Private family graveside services will be at 11am Monday, July 19 at Olympus Cemetery followed by a memorial luncheon for friends and family at 12pm at Nichols-Stephens Reception room. Arrangements entrusted to Nichols-Stephens Funeral Service.
