Dennis A. Milbeck Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dennis A. Milbeck, Sr., age 77, of Grove, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Integris Grove Hospital. Dennis was born on June 24, 1944, to Fred and Esther (Milannowski) Milbeck in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Oconto High School in Oconto, WI and shortly after joined the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served for 2 years. On August 25, 1979, Dennis married the love of his life, Mary Vega, and the couple made their home in Shelbyville, KY. Dennis was a truck driver for over 50 years and later owned his own trucking company. After the kids were grown, he and his wife traveled all over the United States together and loved seeing the mountains and scenery. The couple moved to Grove in 2000 to retire to the lake. Dennis enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and Moose Lodge in Grove. Dennis had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He was a hardworking man that spoke his mind and loved his family dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Milbeck in November of 2015. Left to cherish his memory six children: Cora Logsdon of Texarkana, AR, Dennis Milbeck, Jr,(Amber) and Christina Mendolla, both of Grove, OK, Shawn Burden (Chantal) of Georgetown, TX, Cheryl Milbeck of Arlington, TX and Clifford Milbeck of Boise, ID; siblings: Diane Cuttrell of Florida, Darlene Amore of Wisconsin and Richard Milbeck of Lubbock, TX, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Memorial services are planned at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Nichols-Stephens Funeral & Cremation Services.
