Tracy Nicole Bennetts

Tracy N. Bennetts, beloved wife, mom and grandma, passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 51. Tracy was born on May 6, 1972, to Jimmy and Linda (Wilson) Eden in Cheyenne, Wy. In her youth, her family moved to Clear Creek, Colorado, where she grew up and graduated from high school. On May 27, 2000, Tracy married the love of her life, Reed Bennetts, in Dumont, Colorado, where the couple made their home. She had several occupations, working as a Zoning Officer for Clear Creek County and also as a bookkeeper for her father’s trucking company. Tracy's greatest accomplishment in life was her unwavering love for her family, especially her three boys. She poured her heart and soul into their well-being and was a constant source of love, support, and guidance. Tracy's love for her family extended beyond her immediate circle, as she was overjoyed by the arrival of her beloved grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy and happiness into her life. In her free time, Tracy found solace by the water's edge, fishing for bluegill. It was during these serene moments that she found peace, connecting with nature and relishing in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. She and her family also attended First Christian Church. Tracy possessed a remarkable ability to see the best in everyone she encountered. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her love for her family, and her ability to see the beauty in every individual and will be dearly missed by all who loved her. An advocate for organ donation, Tracy's legacy will live on through the lives she saved. Her decision to be an organ donor demonstrated her compassionate nature and her desire to make a positive impact on the world even after she was gone. She is preceded in death by her parents and two infant daughters, Angel and Allison. Left to cherish Tracy’s memory, husband, Reed Bennetts, 3 sons: Justin Bennetts (Haley) of Dumont, CO, Reed “R.J.” Bennetts and Zachary Bennetts of the home, and 4 grandchildren, Jaxon, Abigail, Ainsley and Wyatt. Memorial services will be at 11am Friday, February 16, 2024 at First Christian Church in Grove.
